Our Mission at Springfield Homes and Generational Care

Greetings, family

As a result of prayer and a focus on greater change for our mission, Springfield Homes & Generational Care has decided to move in the direction of research and development.

How does that work?  NUTSHELL: We'll stick to our Mission, Core Values, and Vision.

There is no flexibility in ethical principles: Integrity puts people over things, service over power, principal over convenience, and the long view over the short term.

As a community, we place a high value on quality of life over quantity of life. The population we serve is treated as an individual rather than being generalized.

Our problem-solving process is resident- or client-driven, with a sense of urgency when addressing matters for our residents or clients.

Collaboration-Curiosity-Persistence-Passion: Working with our core care staff is equally important as working with industry professionals. We stay curious and persistent in making a difference. Our team celebrates and encourages passion, so that we can bring our best all the time.

It is our belief that moving in this direction will allow Springfield Homes & Generational Care to evolve in the manner we have always intended. Rather than focusing exclusively on the growth of the census, we should examine how we can improve the process of providing care for others and who will assist us in doing so. Not just in our practice but changing the environment and how we care for the aged.  The research will be conducted through surveys, collaborations, observations, and treatment of a control group.  Controlled groups will include our residents, staff, management, and third parties.  In this study, we will be collecting data to submit the results for publication.  I am hoping that we will be able to lead some greater changes in the way our country cares for its citizens.

All submissions will be anonymous as I explained in the informed consent.
